Big Black Dress is a blog dedicated to fashion for UK women with curves.

I have always been a size 16+ I love my clothes and I like to shop. But I’ve always been frustrated by the lack of choice of clothes in my size, and the way that some brands just stop at a size 14 or 16 for no apparent reason.  Why would you do this when the majority of UK women are size 16+?

So, here I plan to bring together some of my personal favorite high street and online brands for well rounded women.

I shall also be taking the opportunity to have a little rant – and name and shame those who only seem to cater for stick insects.

And I guess we will probably end up talking about some other bits and pieces as well.

So, a bit about me.  I don’t claim to be a fashion expert – and there are probably plenty of people who wont even rate my dress sense – I’m just an ordinary UK female, sharing my thoughts on something I enjoy.

The site carries some advertising and affiliate links (i.e. links that mean I get paid if you buy something I recommend).  I will never be recommending brands or items that I don’t believe in, but if you feel differently about any of my reviews please let me know.

Oh – and its called Big Black Dress because I can never get in to a little one.
